Neurodiverse Friendship Event (ages 21+)

This event is for adults only, age 21 plus.

The event is offered in response to the feedback we received from the Neurodiverse Dating events in June2003 that a lot of participants also wanted a friendship event.

The purpose of the event is to provide opportunities for meeting other neurodiverse people to make a friendship connection. We are not providing coaching or instruction on social skills.

Also in response to feedback, we’ve added an OPTIONAL, 1-hour “Pre-event Workshop” from 4pm – 5pm to familiarize participants with logistics of the event and to learn about the space. This is not required but strongly encouraged.

Check-in will open at 6pm and we’ll start at 6:30pm. Please arrive with enough time before 6:30pm to check-in and get oriented to the space. The environment will be sensory friendly to the extent possible with reduced noise and lighting. Fidgets and headphones will be easily accessible. Coffee, tea, water and snacks to be provided.

Pre-Registration is required as we will NOT be allowing registration at the door. Anyone registered for the event can attend the option Pre-Event Workshop.

Supporters are welcome and will be in a separate space so they will be available as needed.
