Empowered Services was born out of the passionate vision of our founder and executive director, John Marvin. His prior experience as a direct support professional (DSP) enabled him to bring a unique, empathetic perspective to the organization, shaping its essence in a way that is centered around understanding and serving the specific needs of our customers.

John was Bryce’s DSP, providing daily care, support, and companionship. Their relationship represents the ethos of Empowered Services – a close, compassionate bond that goes beyond professional care and touches the realm of genuine understanding and shared experiences. It is a testament to our belief that the best way to support individuals with IDD is to truly understand them. And to do that, we need to be more than just providers; we need to be partners in their journey.
