How do I start services in Oregon?
Begin with a quick customer intake and a specialist typically follows up within 1–2 business days to understand your needs and start the matching process. You can also call us at (503) 855-3581.
What is the Empowered Choice Program?
The Empowered Choice Program lets eligible individuals choose a trusted family member or friend to serve as their paid Direct Support Professional, with our support and coordination behind them.
Do you serve my county?
Empowered Services is certified statewide and welcomes inquiries from all 36 Oregon counties. Active service availability varies by county as trusted matches and local capacity become available — reach out and we'll tell you exactly where things stand where you live.
How much do services cost?
Empowered Services is a Medicaid/ODDS-funded agency and does not currently offer private-pay services. For eligible individuals, authorized supports are generally funded through Oregon's I/DD system. Eligibility, authorization, and service availability apply — we'll help you understand your funding and next steps during intake.
