$23–$25/hour DSP range
Tier depends on role, training, authorization, schedule, and experience.
Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance
Full-time employees working 30+ hours/week are eligible.
401(k) with employer match
401(k) with employer match and Paid Time Off (PTO) for eligible employees.
Paid annual training
Training and professional development, including 24 paid hours annually.
Mileage reimbursement
Covered for approved customer community outings.
ECP pay tiers
ECP has two tiers. Tier 1 includes pre-approved overtime at $33/hr, up to 20 hrs/wk, where authorized and assigned. Tier 2 follows the standard $23–$25/hour DSP range. Standard DSP roles do not include pre-approved overtime. Recruiting will explain Tier 1 base pay and eligibility during your hiring conversation.
Relationship-based match
Support one customer at a time, with coordinator support.
Language support
English and Spanish support available; other language preferences can be noted on the interest form.
Full-time employees, 30+ hours/week, are eligible for:
- Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance

- Paid Time Off (PTO)
Basic DSP requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Current auto insurance meeting state requirements
- Ability to pass a background check; not all records are disqualifying
Currently a DSP with Empowered Services? Refer another DSP and earn up to $1,000.
$500 when your referral is matched and works 20+ hours per month for 3 months. Another $500 at 6 months. Terms and eligibility apply.

What are the basic requirements?
